Anguilla
Anguilla is a flat island of long white beaches and a very quiet life: no high-rise hotels and no nightlife rush. There is no income tax, but housing, food and electricity are expensive and the choice of shops and services is minimal. It stays dry and warm all year, the best season runs from December to April, and hurricanes are possible in summer and autumn. Work is tied to tourism and requires a permit, healthcare is basic, and specialist care and shopping happen on Sint Maarten.
