Caribbean Netherlands
Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba are special Dutch municipalities: world-class diving, tiny settlements and no rush whatsoever. Everything is priced in dollars, food and electricity are expensive, and the choice of housing is limited by the size of the islands. Bonaire stays dry and windy all year, while Saba and Sint Eustatius are greener and wetter, with hurricanes possible in summer. Work outside tourism and the public sector is scarce, healthcare is basic, and complex cases go to Curaçao or the Netherlands.
