Where to Find a Doctor in Istanbul

8

Nişantaşı is one of Istanbul's densest medical neighborhoods: dozens of specialists practice near each other. Here's a list for those who need a regular appointment, not just aesthetic medicine, which the district is famous for.

How We Selected Them

We picked one or two doctors per specialty that you actually need when relocating: dental, skin, ear-nose-throat, pediatric allergies, psychology, urology, and nutrition. Aesthetic and plastic surgery—just one entry, though there are dozens of clinics in the district: medical tourism isn't the main reason to find a doctor right after moving.

What Suits Whom

  • Mutlu Dişler — dentistry, routine checkups, and treatment
  • Şerafettin Saraçoğlu — dermatologist, skin and cosmetic concerns
  • Yusufhan Süoğlu — otolaryngologist (ear-nose-throat)
  • Ahmet Akçay — pediatric allergist and pulmonologist, if your child reacts to the new climate
  • Barış Çelik — psychologist
  • Cem Akbal — urologist
  • Seçil Kenar — dietitian
  • Emre Gönen — plastic and aesthetic surgery, if that's your goal

What to Plan For

All locations are private practices in the Teşviktaş area, without SGK state insurance; payment is on-site by card or cash, book appointments ahead by phone or through the clinic's website. Staff at Nişantaşı private clinics mostly speak English—Russian isn't standard, confirm in advance.
