Haiti

Haiti is considered for short working trips, most often connected to international organisations. Local produce is cheap, while international-standard housing and services in Port-au-Prince are expensive and arranged in advance. The climate is tropical: a dry winter, rain in spring and autumn, and hurricanes possible from June to November. Travel inside the country is planned with local support, healthcare and power supply are intermittent, and connectivity is unstable.
