Luxembourg

A small country with a large financial industry: work in banks and funds, salaries above the European norm and free public transport across the whole territory. Rent is high enough that many people live over the border in Germany, France or Belgium and commute in. The climate is temperate, with cool summers, damp winters and brief snow. The difficulties are everyday multilingualism, a tight housing market and a narrow job market outside finance.
