Nicaragua

Nicaragua is lakes, volcanoes and a quiet Pacific coast where the surf towns run slow and cheap. It is one of the least expensive countries in the region: rent, food and transport cost little even by Central American standards. The dry season runs from November to April and the rains from May to October, with heat on the coast all year. Infrastructure is limited: healthcare is weak, internet uneven, and work for foreigners barely exists outside tourism.
