Saint Kitts and Nevis

Saint Kitts and Nevis are two small islands with a sugar past, the oldest citizenship-by-investment programme and a very quiet routine. There is no income tax and rent is moderate for the region, though food and electricity are expensive because they are shipped in. It stays warm and relatively dry all year, the best stretch runs from December to April, and hurricanes are possible in summer and autumn. Work outside tourism is almost absent, healthcare is basic, and complex cases go to Puerto Rico or the US.
