Somalia receives almost exclusively work trips with organised security support, most often to Mogadishu and Hargeisa. Local prices are low, while housing, transport and connectivity for a foreigner are arranged by the employer in advance. The climate is dry and hot, with two short rainy seasons and a monsoon wind along the coast. Entry requires a visa and an invitation, movement is restricted, and healthcare and supplies work with major interruptions.
