Wallis and Futuna

Wallis and Futuna is a French territory of three islands with a traditional way of life and almost no tourism. Everything is priced in Pacific francs, costs are high because of shipping, and the choice of goods and services is very narrow. It is warm and humid all year, with a rainy and cyclone season from November to April. Work concentrates in the public sector, French is essential, healthcare is basic, and flights route through New Caledonia and Fiji.
