Western Sahara

A desert Atlantic coastline, visited for kitesurfing in Dakhla and the long drive along the ocean. Prices are low and housing and food cost less than in Moroccan cities, though the choice of anything is limited by the size of the settlements. The climate is dry and windy: the ocean tempers the heat, rain is almost absent, and nights stay cool all year. Infrastructure is minimal: healthcare, banking and connectivity exist only in the larger towns, and the roads between them are empty and long.
